Qualifications
Rev. David Ashton  (B.A., M.Div., Th.M.).  David received his education at Roberts Wesleyan College , Asbury Theological Seminary, the University of Toronto and McGill University .  He is an ordained minister of The Free Methodist Church in Canada , and has served as a pastor and professor for over 35 years, most recently as the Academic Dean and Professor of Old Testament for Rocky Mountain College in Calgary , AB.    He is married to Amy and is the father of three daughters, three sons-in-law and one grandson.  David is now retired and currently resides in Ontario.
Rev. Stanley Hanna is a graduate of Western Evangelical Seminary (M.Div) and Aldersgate College (B.Th). He is an ordained minister of The Free Methodist Church in Canada and has pastored four churches. He was also an Associate Professor of Ministry Practices and Academic Dean at Aldersgate College. He has served on regional leadership bodies in the church, on the Board of Directors at Wesley Acres and on the Board of Directors for the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital. Stanley is the part-time Youth and Christian Education Worker at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church and Interim Preaching Minister at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Aylmer, Quebec. Stanley and his wife Martha live in Ottawa where Stanley owns a home repair business.
Joanne Bell Mrs. Joanne Bell was born and raised in the suburbs of Toronto where she attended Kingsview Free Methodist Church. She comes from a long line of Free Methodist’s – her parents were founding members of Kingsview Free Methodist Church and her grandfather C.W. Kay was a pastor and superintendent.

 

Joanne attended Univeristy of Waterloo where she received a BA in Economics. She also has a MBA from York University.

 

After university Joanne worked as a Market Analyst for an urban planning company; Business Administrator at Aldersgate College in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan; Administrator for the Canada East Conference of the Free Methodist Church; Director of Resource Development for the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada; as well as providing fundraising, marketing and communications expertise to the hospital Foundations in Kingston. Moving to Kingston in 1995, Joanne started a management consulting practice that she ran until taking on her current role as Stewardship Development Director. 

Rev. Greg Pulham has a B.A. (History) and LL.B. from University of Western Ontario. He practiced for 9 years as a civil litigation lawyer at a firm in Brantford before hearing a challenge to take a risk for God at General Conference in Ottawa in 1993. He left his practice and entered the M.Div. program at Tyndale Seminary. Greg has held many leadership, board and committee roles at all levels of denominational life, as both lay and clergy. Currently, he is a member of the FMCC Board of Administration. Greg is an ordained minister of The Free Methodist Church in Canada and has served as Senior Pastor at Freedom Christian Community Church (FMC) in Brantford , Ontario since 1998. Greg is thankful for God’s gift of his wife, Kelly, and their two children, Greg Jr. and Katie.
Rev. John Vlainic is a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College (B.A.), Asbury Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and Wycliffe College in the University of Toronto (Th.M.). He has worked in sales and management (in the insurance industry), taught at Roberts Wesleyan College and pastored three churches. He has served on regional, national and international leadership bodies in the church. He is Director, Pastoral Care at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton. John and his wife Ruth have one son, Jason.
