The Director of Children & Youth will be a mentor who focuses on developing strong relationships with the children and youth of the Harrowsmith Free Methodist Church and the community. This position will involve creative programming for youth and children activities, coordinating volunteers and strategic planning in conjunction with the mission of HFMC. At present this position is divided equally between these two ministries.

Lakeview Church is looking for an inspiring, team-oriented preacher/teacher who is a creative and compelling communicator.  His or her job will be to proclaim the Good News of Jesus, inspiring people to live the full and abundant life that Jesus offers. He or she will provide spiritual leadership through preaching/teaching, equipping people to live faithfully and courageously as disciples, applying the teachings of Jesus to their everyday lives. The successful candidate will possess an ability to speak with both depth and simplicity, and will be a lifelong learner who is passionate about improving their craft.

As the preaching/teaching pastor, he or she will be an individual with a strong personal faith, with excellent communication and listening skills. This pastor will be a humble and authentic leader who is committed to and passionately engaged with people.

We are looking for someone with a missional mindset, who desires to see the church engaged in both the local and global community.

The preaching/teaching pastor reports to the Strategic Team Leader. The successful candidate will have past experience working with a multi-staff church.  He or she will be comfortable working collaboratively with staff while at the same time equipping, and creating space for volunteers to participate in the growth of their church.
