Ministers Conference - East and Ministers Conference - West. Here is an excerpt from this week's Bishop Notes: "It was a real joy to see pastors enjoying fellowship in Network meetings, during meal times and in the interactive portions of the teaching sessions.   On Tuesday night when I asked those who were new to the Conference to stand to be welcomed, I think everyone was surprised by the number of pastors that have come into our movement since 2007."

Directories will be distributed at the Ministers Conference [east] held at Wesley Acres. This will greatly reduce the costs involved in mailing them out to you. A complimentary copy will be enclosed for all Free Methodist Church offices. If you require additional copies, please fill out the Directory Order Form [sent through the Pastors Listserv on Friday, September 25] and forward it to us.

These packages have to be prepared ahead of time, so your cooperation in helping us organize this is greatly appreciated!

As the Ministers Conference out west has already taken place, we will mail directory orders to you as soon as they arrive.

The 2009 Ministers Conference led by the National Leadership Team [NLT] and Joanne Bell will focus on “Living Generously”. Much more than a theme, living generously is our joyful and sacrificial response to what the Lord Jesus desires to see lived out among His people.













Throughout the conference you will have opportunities to gain practical insights into your personal development in the area of generosity as well as how to think about leading others to embrace the joy of being generous. There will be times of biblical reflection on questions like: “Is it possible to be missional and not generous?” “Is it possible to be generous and not missional?” You will also personally experience the tensions of being either a “HAVE” or “HAVE NOT”.
