The Free Methodist Church in Canada's E-mail Forum

Purpose of the Forum
The Free Methodist Church in Canada's On-Line E-mail Forum (listserv) use Internet technology to aid communication within the denomination. They are no substitute for face-to-face personal communication, but they are a fast, cost-effective, efficient, and fun way to share information.

What is a Forum?
Forums allow groups of people to communicate via e-mail. By sending e-mail to a special forum address, the e-mail message is automatically sent to all the people who have subscribed to that forum.

Note: We will not give subscriber e-mail addresses to anyone.

Church Delegate Listserv

If you are a delegate of a Free Methodist Church in Canada we ask that you sign up for this list (if you are not already). This helps us ensure that information is being received by our local churches.

You will receive a copy of Bishop Keith's weekly notes as well as information specifically meant for your church.

Lay Listserv - Forum For You

A General Free Methodist Forum

Purpose of "Forum For You"

1. This forum should be God-honouring and Church-related news.

2. Use it for announcements:
(a) death notices
(b) anniversaries (pictures perhaps)
(c) Special events and happenings

3. For prayer requests, and answers to prayer

4. Themes of special interest

5. Remember:
(a) If the article is fairly lengthy, send it as an attachment.
(b) Respect the opinion of others.
(c) Do not despise the past blessings, and rejoice in the present opportunities.
